Former President Bill Clinton is working on his first official work of fiction.
It will be a thriller entitled The President is Missing.
Clinton will be joined in writing it by none other than James Patterson.
As one of the world’s foremost thriller/mystery writers, Patterson brings a lot of expertise, while Clinton brings first hand knowledge of what it’s like to be the President.
This marks only the second time that a former President has written a work of fiction, with Jimmy Carter’s The Hornet’s Nest being the first.
The book is also a rare time where two different publishers are cooperating on a release.
Clinton is with Alfred A. Knopf while Patterson is with Little, Brown and Co.
At this point, no real details have been released beyond the title, nor has the book been given a release date.
